The long awaited 1981 Debut release from England’s Lightning Raiders. Originally set to be released on Island records in 1981, the album was shelved and the band disbanded soon after. Featuring Gass Wild on lead vocals with Johnny Hodge and Bruce Irvine on lead guitar, along with Pink Fairies co-founder Duncan “Sandy Sanderson” and Wayne Kramer & The Pink Fairies drummer George Butler. The Raiders ranks also included in the early stages all of The Professionals for their Debut 45 “Views” (Cook, Jones, Allan) before gaining a lead singer in Proto-Pretenders drummer Gass Wild, who took the band to the top of their game. Truly a lost gem from the Punk and NWOBHM era.
