Dave Evans, if you have not followed this man’s career, is a Rock Icon and thriver. He lives currently in Central and South America where he performs constantly, rallying fans at some of the nations’ biggest Rock events and at his own Solo concerts. From the start of “Justice” one understands why they call Dave a master and why he continues to draw international attention and fame, his tongue-in-cheek met absolute dead seriousness is what draws the adoration of a worldwide fanbase, and 2026’s “Justice” does what Dave does in Spades. Evans continued into the 80s as a solo singer with his band Thunder Down Under, before embarking on a film career which saw him starring (in the lead role) in exactly four Australian B-list Feature Films. Dave hung up his Hasselhoff ambitions and got back to Rocking in 2000 when he was invited to perform a tribute to Bon Scott at the 20th anniversary of his Death, where a Live album was recorded. Dave relaunched his solo career the following year with 2001’s “Sinner”, which is the first installment of the Trilogy in which 2026’s “Justice” rounds off.
This marks the second release for Dave Evans on Savant Guarde Records; the former being with his former 1970s Boot Stomping Glam Rock outfit Rabbit’s with 2025’s “Defenders of Rock”. “Defenders of Rock” was a celebration of 50 years of Rabbit music with an all-new studio record from the original band, produced and written by Rabbit lead guitarist Mark Tinson. Evans is joined once again by Mark Tinson for their third Dave Evan’s solo album together. “Justice” is being highlighted by Evans as a trilogy, the final installment in a series of albums starting with 2001’s “Sinner” , 2007’s “Judgement Day”, ending with 2026’s “Justice”. The albums cover was designed by Evan’s and label head Dan Rozell under the guidance and visual production wizardry of graphic artist Scott Waters, an experienced and well-respected talent in the industry. The layout, booklet and concepts were developed by Waters and Rozell. The album features some great guest musicians from the Australian Rock History Book, including Scott Johnston, Dai Pritchard, and Justin Ngariki all formerly of Rose Tattoo, Bassist Laurie Marlowe of Australian Heavy Metal Icons HEAVEN and several others.
