The Label Debut for British Psychedelic Rocker and Former Hawkwind Lead-Singer Bridget Wishart. Visual concepts by Bridget Wishart and Daniel Rozell painted by Alan Arthurs, (former album cover artist and 80s/90s stage director for Hawkwind). This album features the combined songwriting and musical talents of contemporary Space Rock mastermind Santtu Laakso of his critically acclaimed Astral Magic saga, along with Lead Guitarist Steve Bemand with, of course, the mysterious and haunting UK Lyricist/Vocalist Icon, Bridget Wishart. “Ekolu” is Mastered by Paul Cobbold and will be available October 31st, on both 180 Gram Vinyl and a Jewel Case CD. Bridget has had a busy 2025 and 2026 with more than a few album releases with Spirits Burning &…, Astral Magic &…, and the Astral Hawk Machine album, all under her belt in the past two years, 2026’s “EKOLU” (coming this Halloween 2026) is the perfect time to launch her Savant Guarde Debut as a Solo Vehicle for Wishart. Stay Tuned for further updates, as this album is a concept record with a few bonus features to be announced in the coming weeks. The music pays homage to her past legacy both sonically and visually, with the art coming from Alan Arthurs, and the sounds and production from Laakso, the album is intended to invoke nostalgia while pointing to Bridget as a force in the Progressive World, and one that should be watched closely in the coming days. This is the perfect place to begin if the last album you heard from Bridget was 1990s “Space Bandits” from Hawkwind.
